Our gelato is lovingly made fresh in small batches every single morning, using only the highest quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers, Queensland fruit farms and Victorian dairies. Here at Augustus Gelatery, we love inventing new, unique flavours that can’t be found anywhere else. We draw inspiration from childhood classics and adult indulgences; we also love to take classic Italian gelato flavours and put our own signature twist on them. Once we come up with a new flavour idea, it undergoes weeks – sometimes months – of rigorous taste testing to make sure it is absolutely perfect. Our aim is to put a smile on every customer’s face from the moment they walk through the door – we love seeing our customers’ faces light up when they taste the perfect scoop (or three!). Our stores across Melbourne are open 365 days a year, so you can come back for more whenever you want.

We also pride ourselves in being completely transparent in all we do, especially when it comes to the ingredients we use in our famous gelato. We want everyone to enjoy our flavour creations, no matter what dietary restrictions they have. We are more than happy to disclose our full list of ingredients; we also proudly serve delicious plant based and lactose free flavours. While our flavours may be one-of-a-kind, we use traditional Italian machinery and equipment and artisan techniques to make sure our gelato is top quality. The ingredients we put into our gelato are used in their most natural forms whenever possible, ensuring each flavour of gelato is the very best it can be.
